I was in the Walgreens on SR 16 tonite and they have TONS of stuff on clearance...books, coloring books, learning cards .50-.75, toys really cheap and tons of stuff on all the aisles so check it out! I got a lot (1 thing being a Homedics Sound Spa on clearance that we have been wanting!) and got to use the $5 off $25 purchase coupon and since I checked out at the cosmetic counter I got free cleansing pads!! Whoo hoo! I love checking out at the cosmetic counter anyhow-they are SO much nicer!

I was also in CVS and they have a bin with Travel Size Arm & Hammer toothpaste with a sign that says try it for .01 with card!

Potty Training Tips!

So no, I do not think I am this potty training expert, but I thought I would share some of the potty training things I have done with my little girl that will hopefully help some of you that still have to potty train your little ones...These are the videos/things that have helped her...any of your own ideas PLEASE share!

The book above helped a lot in the beginning (assuming they sell it for boys also), it actually makes a flushing noise when you press the button which helped her to go potty, we kept it on the back of the toilet and it was her potty book. She eventually got tired of that so I had a jar of skittles that she got to pick out 1 if she peed in the potty.

As far as movies (you can rent these at the library):

Pull ups worked great for us, she didn't pee in those any more than she did underwear and in case she did have an accident it was so much easier than having to clean up a big mess! But in the beginning I didn't use those so she would understand more of what was going on. The thick underwear are great too because they absorb most of the pee. A potty chair in the living room was also great as would sit on it when she watched her potty videos and I would find pee in it all the time and had no idea she had went! This potty chair is also a must have for the car! Easily folds and stays in a nice carrying bag! And no mess, you use a disposable bag! I know every child is different for what works for them but this is what worked for us! I actually didn't use a potty chair or pullups with my son!

I'm not sure if it takes .75 off more than once so I would ring them up separate with other things since you will have an overage!

Makes great gifts also...I would ring them up seperate so you won't end up with a $10 EB which can be hard to spend....I would buy one, then buy the second and use the $5 EB and then just be left with $5 EB.

Walmart Toy Sale

I just got back from Walmart and they had some good deals on toys. I think they've been marked down since last week. Good deals I saw was crayola chalk 52 sticks for $2, lots of bubble and swimming stuff, great baby/toddler toys, a baby alive doll for like $10, and some nerf stuff. I think after this sale and target's toy sale my christmas shopping is done!

I also went earlier this afternoon and found lots of great stuff-but most of it I grabbed the last one...but they still have TONS of outside stuff...saw bubble lawn mower for $7, spinning zebra for $15 (there were 2 left), slip n slide for $4 and tons of pools/sprinkler things-Wal-Mart does this toy sale twice a year...now and after Christmas...so stock up now!

Publix has Autumn Grain Bread for 1.49....and I noticed today Wal-Mart is increasing their prices on food items so I would stock up now before they get any higher! I use to buy my canned beans for about .58 earlier this year and now they are up to .76!

If you are planning on making a Staples trip to get the freebies I would definitely recommend calling ahead to make sure they have the items in...they had plenty of the .01 notebooks (which you can price match at Wal-Mart), and highlighters but no pencil sharpener or label maker. They usually don't run out before today and with me getting to kids out with 1 potty training and getting dirty looks from sitting her on the potty in the back of my car I wasn't too happy going in with nothing left!! But he said they get a lot of trucks in during the week (and they just had got one in but hadn't unloaded it yet), so there may be some in later today but def call first....it's a great deal-(FREE!) and the easy saver rebates are SO EASY!

I haven't got my car serviced here besides oil changes....we go to St. Augustine Tire which is located off of 207-they have been the lowest prices that we have found...
