Sorry late :)

Tip #8

Stock up!! When toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent, or paper towels are on sale buy in bulk if it is a great deal-that way you never run out! I do this for a lot of things including food. There are tons of things you can buy in advance and cook if you realize you don’t have anything to cook-be smart! You can waste A LOT of money running out at the last minute to grab food for the family or run in the grocery store to buy items at regular price. When a roast is on sale-buy a couple! Keep canned food such as beans to make soups-taco soup is a favorite here! Keep plenty of noodles and spaghetti sauce handy! Buy an extra loaf of bread and put it in the freezer. Freeze a half gallon of milk if you don’t have a lot of room in your freezer. Keep extra peanut butter on hand. Make a list of favorite recipes and stock up on the ingredients! Plenty of ideas, I believe it is important to have an extra supply of food especially in case of emergencies. Common things you can get for free (& sometimes overage) at places like Walgreens or CVS (after RR or Extra Bucks) are toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, hair gel, toothpaste, toothbrush, and razors so stock up when you can get these deals!

I have a food sealer that I used with my meat, helps to keep the freezer burn away. Also worked great with the fruit I froze as well. It is something I would recommend if anyone buys things in bulk and plans on freezing it for a while.
