Annual Beach Pass

Motor Vehicles are permitted to park on several stretches of St. Johns County Beaches for a moderate fee. Traffic is regulated and the ten-mile per hour speed limit is strictly enforced. Pedestrians are urged to stay alert and use caution. Soft sand and high tides may prevent access and drive-ability on the beaches.

Passes are required for vehicular access from March 1 through September 30 and may be purchased at the Recreation and Parks Office, the St. Johns County Tax Collectors Office, and the St. Johns County Pier. Daily passes are available at the beach access ramps beginning March 1.

Preseason Annual Pass Fee – on sale December 1 through March 1:

  • County Resident – $30.00
  • Non-resident – $40.00

In-Season Annual Pass Fee – on sale March 2 through September 30:

  • County Resident – $40.00
  • Non-resident – $50.00

Daily fees – March 1 through September 30:

  • County Resident – $6.00
  • Non-Resident – $7.00

Special use permits are available through Beach Services Habitat Conservation Plan.
