Following the huge success of the previous two years, the third annual Winter Wonderland festival returns to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre starting November 20th and running through January 3rd. Over the past two years more than 80,000 people have spent the holiday season with Winter Wonderland and made it part of their holiday tradition.
Critics have praised the festival as being “A Huge Success” and that “Taking a Chance on Ice Pays Off”. Last year’s “Winter Wonderland is a Hit!” & “It was easy to forget I was really in Florida”.
New additions to this year’s festival include the Blizzard Bounce House & the Elf Express Train as well as a New Theatre original production of “A Time for Everything”, thousands of additional lights, more decorations, more holiday scenes painted by local artists, and the most holiday cheer in Florida!
Other Winter Wonderland favorites include St. Augustine’s ONLY Ice Skating Rink with Nightly Snow Fall! America’s ONLY Refrigerated Ice Slide, Sleigh Rides, Elf Village, Reindeer Games, Lighted Nature Trails, Candy Cane Forest, S’Mores Pit, and of course the man himself Santa Claus!
They have some great deals this year! If you plan to get these hot
deals or plan to get electronics at other place bring a chair, blanket
& something to do! We were set on getting a laptop last year & pulled
up at midnight (doors opened at 5am) & there was already a HUGE line!
Even tents set up! People go crazy to get these deals! So
just be prepared if you plan to do it!

Pa-Kua Martial Arts & Yoga, 233 W. King St. | |
(904) 827-0007 We have been going & trying out different martial arts schools & went here tonite! It is a great facility! We are going back tomorrow night to try out a different one but I think their prices are very reasonable! They are actually running a special right now which is 2 for 1! Meaning if you choose to do a class once a week (which costs $60 for the month) then another family member (or friend-you would have to call & clarify that) will receive the same thing! So pretty much buy 1 get one free! I also saw that if you have a current student I.D. you get $25 off (I think), & if you choose direct deposit you get a class for a free each month! They have several classes-Yoga, Martial Arts, Women's Martial Arts, Kickboking, Pee Wee Martial Arts (ages 3-5) & also a Kid's Martial Arts Class, they even have a kid's one on Saturdays that parent's can join in on...lots of choices! Call for more info-you can try your first class for free. The special is running through the end of the month BUT she said if you mention that you saw this on my blog then you can get it 2 for 1 even if it is after November! |
