Looking for something to do during spring break?

Pump It Up is soooo much fun! It is on Beach Blvd in Jax-close to the Town Center-we all have a blast here! For the next 2 weeks you can go jump from 9-6:15! It is $8 a kid for ages 12 & under-there are BOGO coupons in the Entertainment book. They also have a pass which we bought since we go a lot that is 50% off. It is $40 for 10 passes so $4 each which is a great deal! We usually go when it is Family Jump Time which is Mon-Wed from 3:15-6:15 & stay the whole time & still not ready to leave! I was even doing it all when I was close to 9 months pregnant! It really is a fun place & worth the drive! It was so empty tonite surprisingly so we had an even better time! Unadvertised Walgreens Deal?!

I guess there is midweek specials which don't start until 3/31-well the sign was already up at the Walgreens for the gimme clips-go here to see them-I can't get the pic to download but they are cute flower clips! BUT the RR didn't print out so they gave it to me in cash instead & then we realized the sign said 3/31 so they took it down but it should start then! I was excited because I think these are so cute & have been wanting to buy them!

They are going to be on sale for $2.99 and then you get a $2 RR so .99! Limit 1. They have a lot of clearance too so walk up & down the aisles & look for the orange tags! The Dulcolax is a great MM this week-I made $12 for buying 2 of them & I got a free large bottled water! 1 of them had a coupon on it for free bottled water up to $2 for buying the product, another one had a rebate up to $5 for buying it-it said it expired 2/28/10 but I called & they said they are accepting them through June-in the 12/13 SS insert there is a rebate in there that you can do that I would assume would work as well-there is an 1-800 number to verify on it but the lady said it will for sure when I called.

CVS Deals

I forgot to mention mops/brooms were 60-80% off at CVS-there were nice mops for $4-5 too! Just go when you have time & walk up & down the aisles-you never know what you may find!

CVS had lots of clearance (I was at the one at N. Ponce), shoe stuff & shoelaces were 80% off, some coloring books were 80%, picture frames, they even had a voice recorder with the mini tapes 80% off so it was $5! They had CD packs on clearance 80%-lots of stuff so keep your eye out!

The Strap Perfect Bra Straps are BOGO at CVS this week & there were $1.50 off coupons in the paper today so if you have 2 papers then $7 for both! Has anyone used these before?

I also got a $2 off $10 baby care purchase yesterday when I scanned my card so I snagged 2 packages of Huggies diapers for $2 each (sale starts today)! I try to go Sat night to get the deals the following week to get 2 trips done in 1! Most stores put the ad in their system late afternoon on Saturday but this does not work for the 2 or 3 day deals as far as I know.

Dollar Tree had lots of name brand sunscreen for $1 today! They have a huge selection of birthday party decorations so check that out! I don't get too much from there-some things I do is craft things, scrapbook stuff, hairbows/headbands for my girls...you never know what you may find!

Publix at Mission Trace (on SR 16) is having an Easter Egg Hunt from 10-2 this Saturday! I'm sure other Publix's may be doing something so I would call your local one!

If you printed out the $1 coupon off of Vanity Fair napkins last week then FREE napkins this week at Walgreens! The 100 count napkins are bogo at $1.99-there were 2 .50 coupons in yesterday's inserts so it would make it $1 for 200 napkins (if you have 2 coupon) which I think is a great deal especially for nice napkins (they are like 2 napkins in 1-I even tear them in half-yeah a little cheap-I even have my son trained on that one!). I was at the one across from the hospital & they had good clearance-I got a mega blocks spiderman set for $3.50. There is also a $1 moneymaker on Planter's peanuts this week if you became a fan on facebook & printed off a $1.50 coupon-They are on sale for $1.50 so after coupon FREE but there was a $1 off 2 coupon in the monthly booklet there so $1 moneymaker!

There was a $3 off any schik disposable razor in the paper yesterday & these are .99 at Publix in the travel section so $2 moneymaker!! (Thanks I heart Publix.com).

Kmart deal?

In the ad today if you buy the Barbie Mermaid movie & doll you get $10 automatically off. I think the movie was $19.99 in the store & another Barbie movie is on sale for $5 & there is a coupon on the DVD for $5 off when you buy both movies so that would make the one Barbie movie free! So it would costs you around $2o for a barbie doll & 2 movies-not too bad! I'm not sure if all the DVD's had the coupon on them-I just glanced at it when I was there last week. So I wouldn't make a special trip unless you were planning on going!

I know that a lot of us aren't getting every insert in the Record-so if you have time call & complain so maybe they will! I just talked to 2 different departments & they both told me we should be getting all the inserts so I am not sure why we're not! But they extended my subscription another week-which they will do if they ever forget to give you a paper so always call! The number is 819-3430 so call & complain so we can start getting all of our inserts!

Check your walgreens freezers-there is a ton of food on clearance! A lot was gone-but there was cool whip for .50, breakfast sausage for .70....! At the Walgreens across from the hospital it was printing out a coupon for $10 off $25 purchase at Fashion Bug (excludes clearance though! they had some cute sandals on clearance for around $11!), but I have 3 of them & they expire 3/29/10 so if you shop there & want them email me (email on top right hand side) & I'll get them to you somehow!

And you can get free Jello this week! At Publix next to the Royal Jello there is a coupon for $1 off 5 & they are on sale at Walgreens this week 5 for $1! And it is in a coupon so you can bring it to Publix & price match! Thanks Judy!!

And lots of garage sales this weekend! I went to a few today & found some things-I have been getting lucky finding things I need! I even found 5 cute pairs of shoes for my girls for $3 for all of them! Found 3 of them at Betty Griffin! I love thrift stores & garage sales & most of all I just LOVE my hubby for watching the kids while I go & get "me" time & score some great deals!!

But Kids Bridge on San Marco is closing down so they are selling lots of stuff even cabinets & their sink! They have lots of kids magazines (like Highlights-which I love for my son! & National Geographic for .10)-their prices are very reasonable! I got 2 kid's DVD's, 3 magazines, 3 cute baby my little pony's that my little girl will not put down-they probably had at least 50 of them! a batman toy & a barbie activity book with crayons all for $2! I just get so excited to find great deals-my poor husband has to listen to me tell him all about them-poor thing!!

Me & the girls had fun running errands in the rain today-went & got free bkfast at Chick fil A & went to Staples & Target! We actually had a lot of fun getting wet & running in the rain! I was in Target today & found a few great deals! Almay make up remover pads are $1.49 in travel section & there is a $2 coupon off ANY Almay product! And there was a set of pots on clearance for 50% off-TFAL brand-regularly $100 on clearance for $50-I have the same brand & LOVE these! They clean so easily! They were in the kitchen section on an end cap. They also have the gillette razors for $4.99 & if you use your $4 coupon only .99 after coupon! I grabbed some oral b stages toothbrushes (will make great baby gifts-I love making little baskets with little things!) for free-used the $1 Target coupon & $1 manufacturer coupon!

Staples I grabbed some copy paper for $1 (after easy rebate that you can submit online), dry erase markers for $1, dry eraser for $1 & a 3 punch hole mini one for $1 which I have been wanting to keep in my notebook for church! I am already ahead & buying things for my son for kindergarten this year & for preschool for my daughter-you can look at the lists ahead on the website or call! But it's a good idea to know so you can grab it when it's cheap!! He needs 2 reams of copy paper so I got that marked off my list! And I did the kleenex deal at Walgreens last week since he needs 2 boxes of those! But that saves me a ton!

Also-I've had a couple people ask but the sippy cups at Walgreens is in a bin next to the cosmetic counter-they had playtex Disney Cars & Princesses-bogo, $3.99 each-so makes it $2 for each one!

I also love getting white tshirts for my son to wear under his polo shirts. Remember you can print 2 per computer! And you can NO LONGER print them in stores! And bring a reusable shopping bag and get .05 off your purchase for each bag!

My neighbor just told me about hour long massages for $25 at First Coast Tech. College (FCTC). Number is (904)547-3480! I have lived here over 6 years & had no idea! I already booked my appointment! I have lots of back pain but never wanted to pay the normal amount so I am way excited! I'll call it an early Mother's Day Present!!

There also is a cosmetology school too-she said she got her hair cut for $7, hair colored for $7-what a deal! I personally like these places-I use to go when I was in college-they do a great job & they have someone double check them!

I lucked out tonite & found more pullups on clearance for $2.89! And I had $2 off coupons & I got a RR for $5 for buying 3 huggies products so I actually got paid $1.80 for buying 3 packages of pullups! Whoo hoo! And I found these cute baskets for $1.79-I love to organize so I was excited about this find-one was a perfect fit for our "warm fuzzy jar" I posted about earlier. They also have great toys on clearance. The one on A1A definitely had a better selection but the one in Southpark had great toys too (across from the hospital)! They had a vanity for a little girl on clearance-I can't remember how much-but a lot of toys are 50%-75% off! And make sure to look in the clearance section! I grabbed a spaghetti thing for .50! Mine just broke! And the Disney sippy cups are BOGO! So $2 each which is a great deal for Playtex brand & can make a great Easter basket stuffer! I thought they were so cute!

Easter Egg Hunt at Treaty Park!

Easter Egg Hunt – The St. Johns County Recreation & Parks Department presents the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday, April 1st, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at four local parks. Bring the kids down for this fun-filled event and even get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny!

Check out Walgreens & CVS clearance if you are in there-I got some great deals tonite! CVS over on the island had a cart up front with LOTS of clearance! I got Bayer Quick Release Aspirin 4 ct for .74 & I had a $1 off coupons! They had tons of make up stuff.

Walgreens had lots of clearance all over the store-a lot of toys are 50% off-I found a gillette razor for $3 & I had a $4 off coupon! & I got my little girl some girly chapstick (yes I know chapstick is normally free but I liked the girly kind!) for .49-they had lots of sets for .99 & lots of makeup for real cheap. They had throws 75% off -I grabbed one for $2.49! They had 3 pack onesies for 1.50 & 2 pack sippy cups (like the nuby kind) for .75! But walk around the store & keep your eyes out!

Bruster’s Free Ice Cream 3/6

Florida students take their FCAT (state test) on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. So on March 9th all students 15 and under who come to any McDonald’s in Florida (accompanied by a parent) between 6am-9am will get an Egg McMuffin, Apple Dippers and Orange Juice or Milk for FREE!!

I was concerned with my daughter not talking & went to Jacksonville today to the Early Intervention Program for a screening-go here for more info-& she did fail the test so we will be getting assistance to help her start communicating more. This is a free program. It is from birth up to 36 mos-the screening is for free.

If your child is older than 3, then they would do a free screening here & go from there.

Winn-Dixie I got Prego pasta sauce for .30 a jar-they are bogo for 2.59 & I got the heart smart ones & used the 2, $1 off coupons! yay! & I grabbed some more pillows for $2 each which I really need! they also had valentines day stuff up to 90% off so check out the clearance section-I also was being nosy & saw in someones buggy a chicken from the deli & it has a $2 coupon on it-I assume they have to get rid of them if they are marked for today so they mark them down? I didn't ask but if so that is a great deal!
